Calls for Research Grants
Science and Innovation cannot excel without funding. It is crucial for our (academic) ESBB members to obtain research funding. Within this members’ only area, ESBB will highlight all calls that either closely or indirectly focus across all fields on biobanking or biopreservation. We will mainly focus on EU grants. In addition, specific ESBB grants might provide funding to projects that are key to ESBB’s mission and vision. Please be aware that ESBB cannot guarantee completeness of funding opportunities. ESBB Calls for Research Partners
Most of our members pursue highly sophisticated research within their different professions on a daily basis. To fulfill ESBB’s mission, we will promote science and innovation in distinct biobanking and biopreservation areas within our ESBB network. We will reach out to our members to align and set up international and interdisciplinary research consortia. In contrast to ESBB’s calls for Research Projects, this call aims to identify members with specific expertise or interests to develop early-stage project ideas together. ESBB Calls for Research Projects
As part of ESBB’s vision, we will promote science and innovation through distinct research projects within our ESBB network. We will showcase ESBB’s research projects, call for members’ engagement and report on progress and results. This is the place to keep the overview of ESBB’s projects plans, initiatives and deliverables. Please connect with the chairs of our ESBB Working Group Science & Innovation if you would like to propose your own project ideas. ESBB Calls for Surveys / White Papers
Surveys are a great way to understand needs and opportunities in biobanking. The findings may constitute or complement a Review and as thus get published. Furthermore, surveys may be the basis for White papers as well as opinion building, strategic positioning and political weight. ESBB therefore considers surveys as highly instrumental tools and encourages all ESBB members to participate actively. Make your voice heard!
