The patient organisation, GÉNÉTHON, is welcomed as a new member of ESBB! Since its creation in 1990, the mission of the Genethon’s DNA and Cell Bank has been to promote advances in genetic research by providing the scientific community with a high quality samples.

A new membership category has been created for Museums, Botanic Gardens, Zoos and other Enviro-Bio biobanks. Since these organisations tend to have smaller budgets for research infrastructure, membership is at the discounted rate of 108 Euros per organisation per year.
