Brussels, September 11th, 2019: ESBB General Assemblyhas voted with overwhelming majority to exceptionally extend the term for all Council members including the Executive Board for one additional year. The ESBB Council wholeheartedly wishes to express its sincere gratitude for the trust and confidence demonstrated by the members. The term-extension for all Council members offers an exceptional opportunity to excel ESBB even further due to continuity and transparency. Furthermore, General Assembly has voted to increase the number of councillors to four additional positions. Prof. Elke Smits in her function as ESBB Ambassador has been assigned by Council to chair the nominating committee and will soon reach out to you to start the nomination and election process forfour additional Councillor positions. This process will be supported by our highly appreciated ESBB office run by Marie Mahieux. Please stay tuned for this upcoming election!
