Global Biobank Week 2017

ESBB, BBMRI-ERIC and ISBER joined forces for the first Global Biobank Week which took place from September 13th to 15th, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden, with 950 participants from 5 continents, with 434 abstracts submitted.

Global Biobank Week 2017 brought together biobanking experts, scientists, policy makers and patient representatives to discuss the future challenges for biobanking. The aim of this conference was to provide a global platform on biobanking and biopreservation within the international framework, focusing on areas of innovation and development that are capable of driving future research and discovery.
