Surveys / White Papers
Surveys are a great way to understand needs and opportunities in biobanking. The findings may constitute or complement a Review and as such can get published. Furthermore, surveys may be the basis for White papers as well as opinion building, strategic positioning and political weight. ESBB therefore considers surveys as highly instrumental tools and encourages all ESBB members to participate actively. Please stay tuned for future surveys and opportunities to engage in review articles and white papers.
Survey of the WG Data Standardization & Harmonization
In the first quarter of 2020, two surveys will be available for biobanking and for researchers’ communities. Aim of this effort is to obtain information about current state of use, implementation and knowledge about standards. Acquired knowledge will then be published in form of a report or review and help to strategize further actions of our Working Group. If interested to participate in the setup of the surveys, please contact Blazej Marciniak (blazej.marciniak@biol.uni.lodz.pl).
